New porch talks

My Sunday evening porch talks are much different now without Papaw. But I told Mamaw she had to carry on the tradition. She said “I can’t give the wise advice Jimmie did”.

Mamaw- This is peaceful. I really like it here at Dalton's Place at Star City. I don’t have to cook, clean, or do laundry. I feel like a Queen.

Me - You are a queen.

Mamaw- No. I’m a child of God, not a Queen.
