Mask Me Up

Papaw: Well move out of the way! Don’t you see me trying to get through!

Me: Why do you have that mask on?

Papaw: Brandy, what world are you living in? Don’t you know that virus is running wild!

Me: Umm, I don’t think it’s in your driveway (he just came in from taking the trash can to the road).

Papaw: Well maybe it is and maybe it’s not. But I’d much rather breath my own warm air than that cold air outside.

I told him I was in the kitchen because I was cooking his supper and brownies. He politely replied “Well please carry on and I’ll get out of YOUR way!”
